1. What is the maximum load capacity?
Our Series 200 Chainveyor® is capable of handling 30 pounds per pendant or 60 pounds per foot. By using load bars, the unit load capacity can be increased to 60 lbs for a single crossbar carrier or 120 lbs with a double crossbar carrier. Our Series 300 Chainveyor® is capable of carrying 100 pounds per pendant or 150 pounds per foot. With single or double crossbars the unit load capacity can be increased to 200 or 400 pounds, respectively.Back to Top
  2. How long can my conveyor system be?
The maximum system length is determined by chain pull. If the chain pull is less than 600 pounds for Series 200 or 1,000 pounds for Series 300, the drive will pull the chain regardless of length. For extremely long systems, where the chain pull exceeds the drive rating, multiple drives can be used.Back to Top
  3. What speed ranges can I run a Chainveyor® system?
We strongly recommend the use of our Variable Frequency Drive Controllers. These controllers electronically control speed and limit the output torque to pre-programmed levels. When coupled with our standard gearmotors, these controllers provide the following speed ranges:

    • Series 200
    • ¼ HP Drive – 0.8 to 13.0 FPM
    • 2 HP Drive – 7 to 100 FPM
    • Series 300
    • ¼ HP Drive – 0.6 to 8.0 FPM
    • 2 HP Drive – 6 to 64 FPM

  4. What is the maximum operating temperature for Chainveyor®?
Chainveyor® enclosed track conveyors are rated for a maximum temperature of 450F, making them suitable for most applications.Back to Top
  5. How often does the conveyor need to be supported?
Hanger spacing for Chainveyor® is dependent on loading.

    • Series 200
    • Hanger Spacing: (Max. 10’-0” Centers)
    • 10’-0” centers up to 20 lbs./ft. load
    • 7’-0” centers 21 to 50 lbs./ft. load
    • 5’-0” centers 51 to 60 lbs./ft. load
    • Plus 1 hanger within 1” tangent of curve
    • Plus 1 hanger in middle of 180º curve
    • Series 300
    • Hanger Spacing: (Max. 10’-0” Centers)
    • 10’-0” centers up to 50 lbs./ft. load
    • 7’-0” centers 51 to 125 lbs./ft. load
    • 5’-0” centers 126 to 150 lbs./ft. load
    • Plus 1 hanger within 1” tangent of curve
    • Plus 1 hanger in middle of 180º curve

  6. Can the system be grounded for Powder Coating Applications?
Yes. The system is fully conductive and can be grounded for this type of use.Back to Top
  7. How are sections of Chainveyor® track installed?
Weld sleeves are required at each junction (track, curve, drive, take-up, etc.) to connect track sections. For installations where welding is not suitable or permitted, optional bolt together construction is available.Back to Top
  8. Do you offer a Power & Free conveyor?
Yes. Our Series 200 conveyor can be provided as a Power & Free solution offering load-switching features not possible with standard power systems. By combining Series 200 Power and 200 Free, the standard Power line moves carriers from one area to another while the 200 Free system is used for switching and in-process storage.Back to Top
  9. Can you design a custom carrier for my product?
Absolutely. Our design team has developed custom carriers for a wide variety of products including empty cartons, totes, bowling balls, caskets, utility knives and numerous other applications. Our team has the design and fabrication capabilities to provide the carrier you need.Back to Top
  10. Can you provide installation?
